A good start to our year!

Despite the shaky uncertainties with COVID still being ever present, we are reminded that God is always present and we need to seek his face no matter what! The first church service of the year at our home church commenced with smaller, more spaced out services (1 hour each), kicking off with Missions Sunday! To our delight not only were we honoured, but we were giving the best news with support coming in! As it stands, we are 50% of the way, maybe a bit more than that to our goal. While we should be over the moon, the spectre of COVID has not moved. God is bigger than any illness .. even one that has England, Europe, America and Japan reeling. Why? 1) God loves and cares for everyone 2) He can turn any situation around and 3) We need to trust him. Trust is important in any relationship and we have been rewarded for staying firm. Let us pray that we seek his guidance, wisdom and exercise good stewardship to keep the faith!
