Elijah and Job moments.

As a committed Christ follower, I find there are many characters in the bible I resonate , and none more so than Elijah and Job. One a well-known firey prophet that faced down kings, queens and foreign armies, the other was a well-to-do man who lost it all. So what do they have in common? Their response in crisis. Elijah ran for his life and hid in a cave, while Job stayed put, and endured his friends berating him. Although their responses were different, God in both instances, through supernatural events ministered to both men in supernatural storms. God reminded them both of who he is, and he operates beyond our mere human understanding, and we are never alone. If nothing else, working with missionaries, sharing life with them and hearing God speak to me on Elijah's story, stregthens my resolve to keep on with God's business.
