God's the one with the master plan.

Often when I take walks, no matter the time of the day, I marvel at this wonderful planet that we are tasked with caring for and nuturing. So many unique plants, animals and no two skies are the same. God's creation has a way of bringing back to Him, because He is the master creator.

Reflecting on when the world first began, I wonder what it would have been like to see God at work. He would be the builder, Jesus the architect and the Holy Spirit providing all the ideas. How much joy would there have been in putting everything together and seeing it all unfold!

We all have dreams whether they are big plans or small that we have a desire or passion to achieve. But in running after these plans we can lose sight of the one who has the best plan for us. Scripture puts it this way "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps" Proverbs 16:9 NIV.

It is hard to see the steps in our 'now' situations, but if you look at the famous Footsteps Poem, we see God carrying through some of difficulties in getting to the place where we want go, just His footsteps, not ours. Completely yielding to His extravagant love is hard for us, who want to do it all, but we can trust God is the one with the master plan.

Alternatively, we may have many different courses we can take to our destination. If that is you, then we can always rely on God to be the one who has the best way through. While the waiting is not the pleasant of experiences, we have His word and His Spirit to help us to stand firm and be still.
