New directions and perspectives.

Over the week, we have been learning about perspectives in our church, when we had a new choice offered. While we aren't going to explain more at this stage, keeping a perspective is what is important. As Christians, each day we have to make conscious choices, but who do we give them to?

On Saturday night, the church was doing a topic on "Who is King?" and I have prayed and thought about how we can get the right perspective. Firstly, praying is key to giving all that we have over to God and letting Him take the wheel. Many voices can skew our perspectives, so ensuring Jesus is in the centre, even when we go astray.

Secondly, worship is essential to ensuring our faith is on course and emotions are on an even keel. It is no surprise that having our mind, body and spirit as one creates a healthy environment and person to thrive in God's kingdom. Not only it helps us, but there are direct benefits to our friends, family and even people that become our friends.

Being in community, helps the kingdom grow, but back to the decisions? We have only to be still, we do not always have to control it all, it takes faith in God to allow Him to steer us in the right course. Finding good counsel is great, but in the long run God is the only one who has all the answers, and we trust Him in that, its the best perspective to have.
