Our vision slightly changed, but the focus is still on Japan for Jesus!

With ACC Vic State Conference done and dusted, it has been a time of great reflection and changing the goalposts a little to give us more room, and hopefully 2020 will be our year. The ACC Vic State Conference not only helped us gain the clarity we needed, by reigniting our faith and strengthening the friendships we have formed, but to know everyone is still cheering us on is so encouraging! As the R U OK? Campaign was part of the conference, our team have reflected on that it is okay when our days are not as sunny nor productive! Being healthy, mind, body and spirit are crucial. Medical science has only now caught up to what the bible has illuminated over the centuries about how declines in mental and spiritual health affect us physically. In the case of Japan, no manner of progress, striving to retain unity and conformity or scientific methods, can heal. Only our loving God who gave his son Jesus for us all can heal the hurts that run deep inside. Once the Japanese know Jesus, imagine what a changed nation we will see! So our vision has altered to include our passion to alleviate the spiritual and mental poverty that is part of the Japanese landscape. It has been my personal experience that when we recognize our problems, we are in a better place to accept the help and take the steps to a brighter day!
