Shining like diamonds.

I read a passage from Lisa McInnes-Smith that says "When you are under pressure, all that should come out of your is sweetness". On researching about pressure, one item that springs to mind is a diamond. To think that a diamond is created from extreme pressure out of carbon to be a thing of beauty is an amazing thing. Now we are not always pretty when we are under pressure, nor is it realistic to think we are going to perky and full of joy.

But, it is okay, to not be okay. In fact, coming from somewhere real and honest, still makes us shine for God. Scripture says "He makes all things beautiful in His time" Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NIV). Growth often happens under the most trying circumstances, but through it all, God shapes us as we journey with Him, no matter what type of object we become. All of us have a purpose, and when we glow for God, then we glorify Him in the Kingdom.
